§ 86-149. Notice to remove.

It shall be the duty of the chief of police to notify, in writing, the owner or occupant of any premises upon which weeds or other prohibited flora permitted to grow in violation of the provisions of this article that such growths must be removed, cut or destroyed within five days from the date of such notice. Notice shall be by registered mail, addressed to said owner or occupant, at his last known address.
