§ 82-27. Discounts on services.

All persons age 62 or older, with a household income of $15,000.00 or less, may submit a request in writing to the city council to be eligible for a 50 percent discount on their water, sewer and/or garbage service. In addition, all persons deemed legally disabled by the Social Security Administration, with a household income of $15,000.00 or less, may submit a request in writing to the city council to be eligible for a 50 percent discount on their water, sewer and/or garbage service. Proof of age, income and/or disability must be submitted with any such request.
