§ 6-28. Application—Procedure; fee.

  • (a)

    Any person desiring to obtain a license to operate, engage in, conduct or carry on any adult entertainment establishment shall make application to the administrator or his designated representative.

    (b)

    Prior to submission of the application for licensure, the applicant shall pay to the city clerk a nonrefundable administrative fee in the amount established by resolution of the city council to defray, in part, the costs of investigation and report required by this article.

    (c)

    The clerk shall issue a receipt showing that the application fee has been paid. The receipt, or a copy thereof, shall be supplied to the administrator at the time the application is submitted.

    (d)

    The application for license does not authorize the engaging in, operation of, conduct of, or carrying on of any adult entertainment establishment.
