§ 42-53. Responsibilities of tow truck operator.

(a)

The first towing company dispatched to a scene primary service will clean all debris from the scene, if necessary.

(b)

The driver or operator for the service will sign an impound inventory sheet when requested by the impounding officer.

(c)

The service will assume all responsibility for the vehicle and contents.

(d)

No service, primary or backup, will "call jump," but will respond only when properly requested by the officer at the scene.

(e)

The city reserves the right to call other equipment or services for special events or circumstances.
