§ 26-87. Hearing.

At the time and place set forth in the notice, the city manager or his designee shall conduct a hearing, taking the testimony and other evidence as he determines appropriate. The rules of evidence prevailing in courts of law or equity shall not be controlling in the hearing before the city manager.
