§ 26-86. Lis pendens.

  • At the time of service as provided herein, a copy of the notice, complaint, or order shall also be filed in the office of the clerk of superior court of the county, for the filing of lis pendens notice in the county, and the filing of the notice, complaints, and orders shall have the same force and effect as other lis pendens notices provided by law pursuant to the authority of O.C.G.A. § 41-2-15(f). Any such complaint or orders or an appropriate lis pendens notice shall contain a statement to the effect that a lien may arise against the described property and that an itemized statement of the lien is maintained in a lien docket kept by the clerk of the city.
