§ 82-415. Petition for construction; exception.

Whenever the owners, as listed on the latest ad valorem tax digest, of more than 51 percent of the property within any designated area petition the city for sewer facilities that would require the laying of a lateral sewer, the petition shall be filed with the city council. The petition shall be examined to see if the signatures are valid and if it sufficiently describes the services required. If not, the petition shall be returned to the filing persons for correction.
