§ 82-231. Administration and enforcement.

The construction, operation, and maintenance of all sanitary sewer lines under the city's jurisdiction is a responsibility of the water and wastewater department. All existing and future sanitary sewer lines laid in the city and all areas served by these sanitary sewer lines are within the jurisdiction of this department except those areas within the corporate limits of municipalities unless arranged by prior agreement or ordinance. The city council supervises all resources of the department to effectively carry out the responsibilities of constructing, operating, and maintaining the sanitary sewer system.
