§ 6-140. City approval required prior to employment.

  • (a)

    Before any person may work on licensed premises, he shall file a notice with the administrator of his intended employment on forms supplied by the administrator and shall receive approval of such employment from the administrator.

    (b)

    The prospective employee shall supply such information as the administrator requires, including a set of fingerprints, on regular Georgia Crime Information Center forms.

    (c)

    Upon approval, the employee may begin working on the licensed premises.

    (d)

    If approval is denied, the prospective employee may, within ten days of the denial, apply to the administrator for a hearing.

    (e)

    The decision of the administrator after hearing may be appealed to the city council that may issue such order as is proper in the premises.

    (f)

    An investigation fee as set by the city council from time to time shall accompany the notice of intended employment.
